1 pannelli 2026In 2019, under the scientific direction of Andrea Bobbio (FISPPA-Department of Philosophy, Sociology, Education and Applied Psychology), Giovanni Galfano (DPSS-Department of Developmental Psychology and Socialisation), and Massimo Grassi (DPG-Department of General Psychology), a conference was organized to celebrate 100 years of Psychology in Padua and Italy, which featured two exhibitions: one dedicated to the life and research themes of Vittorio Benussi, founder of the School of Psychology at the University of Padua in 1919, and one dedicated to Alberto Argenton, his research in the Psychology of art, and his artistic work as a painter.

The panels of the exhibition dedicated to Alberto Argenton have been placed at the DPSS, of which Alberto Argenton had been a member since its foundation. Thanks to Roberto Dell’Acqua (Director of the Department hosting the panels), Giovanni Galfano (Director of the Psychology Centre) and Filippo Longo (Head of Technical Management at the Centre), the panels are now freely viewable for individual visitors during the DPSS’s opening hours and for groups of visitors upon request to direzione.dpss@unipd.it at least one week in advance.

Here below are some photos of the exhibition set up in the corridors on the first floor of the DPSS – Via Venezia 8, 35131, Padua.
